12.05.97		We have joined the DeCL (Deutsche Clanliga). It works like the UKCL. 10 German Clan are with us in this league. The ones that are not, don´t seem to be real clans. The matches will start in two weeks. We will try to win the cup of course :) Our Link page and the frontpage were redesigned by Fly, the front page was getting too lame ;-) (about 1 year old) Yeah soon will be our birthday and we are proud of beeing the oldest existing clan in Germany. Look at our LINK page, you can find all German Clans and some german Quakesites on it. If you want us to link to YOUR page, please send us a button and link url. We will add it. Our member Tib rised from the dead and will be added to the member page again. Welcome back.
08.05.97		We won our match against the Guardians of Chaos. It was the closest one we ever did. Final score was 267 : 264. Thats 4 frags, but victory is victory.. After the typical ping disussions, we played at Splatterfest. There were no mods running. (everyone had to jump in the lava before the lvl was restarted ;) The first match was fine.. equal ping times, but one Goc had pending pings the whole match. We won 178:137 (DM6) The second went a little bit wrong for us. The ping rates were good, but packet loss was horrible. Players dropped due to timeouts and so on.. But Goc played the level (Death32a) very well also. So we lost 089 : 127. Overall a close victory. We will battle with Goc again at the BIG German Quake Convention in Berlin. Local Area Network..no ping Problems :) One thing left, we will not move to other servers in the future. The other clan, can set up a server, and we will play there. But they have to play on our server too. They choose map, we choose map. No discussions on that one :) Enough said.
06.05.97		FAUST\|DUKE is back :) He finally got his ISDN Line and is happy to battle with his family Faust again. Clanmatch against Guardians of Chaos on 8.5.97. Clanmatches against EA and Quadaver in the Pipe. Several other Clans challenged, hope they will reply or something. Fly added a nice CHALLENGE button to the left frame. PLEASE use it :)
02.05.97		Match against TDS didn´t take place, because .... whatever... (wasn´t there)We are a member in The German Clanring now, which will try to organize a German Quake League. We hope to have clanmatches against German Clans in this league. EVERY weekend :)
29.04.97		Dear Reader :) I hope you took a look at our new Guestbook and signed it ... It´s nice to see who surfed on our page. Our own personal Quakeworld Server will be openend to the public in about two weeks. It´ll be run by Bitbuster and the line speed will be 10mbit. We´ve got a nice photo from the Playmate of the year 1995, Jana Hachmeister. With a handwritten dedication for our cool clan . heheheh it´ll be scanned this week and published on our homepage :) Muck and me met her in Hamburg and she was so kind to sign a photo for us and our clan. She looked beautiful, but what to exspect else from an playmate 8) doioioioing.....

19.04.97		We got 3 new members in our family. BadBoy, Amboss and Sixpack. Look at the member page for details. We kicked our member Tib , because we haven´t heard anything from him for month now. We won our friendly match against Armageddon. Results on Clanwars page. We hope to have a clanmatch against German Clans soon. EA-Azrael already said we will have a match against the all new Empire in the next weeks. ALL german Clans are welcome to challenge us. Drop a note to Bitbuster please. 11.04.97		Quick update : We won our Match against Knights of Darkness an kickass UK Clan. The first match took place on their server, the second match on ours. We played the new Quakeworld and it worked fine. Results: On KOD´s Server : 207:87 Kod won (Map DM3) They quite dominated the RocketLauncher room :) Second result for our server (Map DM6) 231 : 56. We won. So at least we won the whole match, but some of their members had ping problems on our server so we had on their, but nevertheless, 2 cool matches took place and we met another very nice clan. 08.04.97		Hi there ! Right, the Easter Faust Party is over and some changes were made to our page here. Look at the PHOTOS Section and get informed about our Partys :) There are many photos for your viewing pleasures. But remember, most of the pictures you can see there were took after heavy quaking and almost NO sleep. :) Also have a look at the ALL NEW member page. You can see nearly all our God Players there with a real life photo and some statistiks about them. Try it. We have some battles against other clans this and next week. UK Clans and Dutch ones challenged us so we will battle with them on QuakeWorld servers. Matches against GERMAN Clans are hard to arrange due to Ping whining and other things. BUT we will have matches against nearly EVERY Clan in Germany at the big German Quake Party that will take place in Berlin. Right now over 80 Clanpeople will come to it and i am really looking forward to it. After the party we can officially say that we are the best Quake Clan in Germany ;)) Ok, have fun on our new Homepage ....
20.03.97		Ups, parts of the new Page are up, looks cool eh ? Try the new member page and check out the Pictures from a local Lan Party in Bielefeld. We are thinking about getting our own domain name. It will be www.fettefaust.de or .com or whatever %-) Faust Session just 1 1/2 weeks ahead. 6 of us will start playing in Bielefeld THIS weekend, that means 10 days of local Quake action !! The rest of us will arrive at Easter Weekend. We exspect 24+ attenders. If you find any typing errors on this news page, you can keep it !

05.03.97		Grunz.. Our BIG Lan Session will take place in Bielefeld. Axe is our host and it will last from 28.3.1997 till 31.3.1997. All Faust Members will appear and you can exspect COOL Demos and Photos to be released afterwards. One problem still left :) Is there any good Quake Player living in Berlin who got a car and is able to deliver our member Gismo to Bielefeld ? You are welcome to play Quake with us, drink lots of Beer and have lots of fun with us !! Msg me please. Some members of other Clans will appear too, we are exspecting over 20 people to attend.
27.02.97		Member page is getting full i guess ;) Yeah we´ve got another new member. This time it is Rastaman formaly active in Clan Defiance. Die Fette Faust features 12 members now. That is enough for now, if we are going to open a CTF Devision maybe we will think about recruiting some new members again. Our local Lan Session is heavily planned. It will take place in Bielefeld and will last over the whole easter weekend. Exspect extremly cool demos to be released afterwards. Thats it for now...

11.02.97		Dear Reader ! :) Sorry for not updating this page recently. But i was very busy in the last few weeks. University, Diablo und Descent II with the new 3dfx Voodoo Patch stole my time :) Can´t wait to download the final GLQuake Patch. Our Clan didn´t had OFFICIAL ClanMatches in the last 2 month or so, but this will change sooner or later.. We´ll start challenging other Clans in the next two weeks. We´ll play one match on the other clans server and one on ours. We still got a Problem with the other GERMAN Clans. It seems that Die Fette Faust is the ONLY Clan who uses University Dialups. All the other Clans seem to use privat one´s. Our problem is that these two different backbones are not linked directly together. If we play on another Clans server we are VERY lagged, exactly what they are if they´re playing on our server. We´ve got to think about a solution, maybe a local Quake Tourney here in Germany ? Would be nice eh ? Exspect more updates in the next few days (University ends on 15.2.1997)
09.01.97		Here it is...our first Clanskin. Maybe that will change some day, but for the beginning it is very good i think. BiTBUSTER never painted via Computer before ...grin....
08.01.97		Local Quake session again ! Our clan will have a new local Quake session in the end of February. We are looking forward getting all 10 members together for playing Quake, drinking AND getting ALL the girls in the Disco , because remember : DIE FETTE FAUST is getting all the girls ! This will be the 5th gathering of the greatest Quake Players in Germany. Boy, we rule .. harhar

23.12.96		Our Clanskin is nearly complete. BiTBUSTER is still busy painting it and eliminating the bugs. It features our Clan logo on the front a German Flag on the back and as axe texture. I will post it on the news page as soon as it is ready.
20.12.96		Match against Empire of Azeroth resheduled Like against Defiance we weren´t able to find an for both sides acceptable server :( So again this match had to be resheduled to January.
19.12.96		Our match against Defiance had to be resheduled because of various Ping Problems. We were not able to find a Server where most of us had acceptable ping rates. On one Server Defiance had good Ping Rates on another our Clan. We are trying to set up a Server in Finland or Danmark for our match. New year new luck. :-) Some people are working on our ClanSkin for QuakeWorld. Exspect it to be ready in January. (hopefully QW will be running then bugfree too ;-)
